Open Investigations

Some mysteries refuse to remain buried.

Since its establishment within The Bureau, the Department of the Unexplained (DOTU) has been tasked with investigating phenomena that challenge conventional understanding.

From classified government experiments and remote viewing to psychic phenomena, unidentified aerial objects, strange occurrences, and historical mysteries, the Department's archives contain cases that have intrigued scientists, investigators, and curious minds for decades.

Now, select investigations are being reopened.

Through immersive, limited-series snail-mail subscriptions, registered investigators receive carefully assembled case files delivered directly to their doors. Each correspondence reveals historical records, documented evidence, competing theories, curious artefacts, and new leads designed to draw you deeper into the investigation.

Some evidence is verifiable. Some remains disputed. And some raises more questions than it answers.

Your assignment is not simply to accept what you've been told, but to examine the evidence, question the explanations, and arrive at your own conclusions.

The files are open. The conclusions are yours.

Welcome to The Department of the Unexplained.
